SYNOPSIS

Diploma In Marine Engineering is designed to cover engineering knowledge and practices related to marine engineering. It also emphasize on the handling and maintenance of ship’s main propulsion plant, marine power generation, ship construction and naval architecture. This programme also includes basic mechanical engineering knowledge. The programme is conducted for seven semester which includes industrial training/sea training for 12 months.
